Two Piglets and a Little Lamb

March 8, 2011

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

The book release excitement is riding high around here. I am continuing my book preview series today for Spud & Chloë at the Farm. I have two more projects to share with you. The first is Little Lamb. He is a black sheep that is really the darkest, richest shade of brown. He is much smaller in size than Spud and he has a big part in the at the farm story line. In the story Spud and Chloë are invited to Little Lamb’s Farm for a visit and the story carries on from there.

Here you can see the size difference in the two sheep in the story. Little Lamb is a sweet one that can sit in your hand.

Little Lamb is made in Spud & Chloë Sweater in Ice Cream and Rootbeer (1 hank of each). He packs a big personality in a little wooly body!

Up next, these two playful little piglets are introduced. In the story they are a little pesky and their pig feet have a little bit of mud, both of which Spud isn’t quite sure of. I love thinking about this energetic pair scurrying around the farm and at the same time creating a little good-hearted mischief on the way.

This piglet is hanging out in my kitchen. I said it before but I love designers’ home photos. The piglets take 1 hank each of Spud & Chloë Fine in Sassafras and Tutu. You could easily get three piglets out of one hank of Tutu!

I always like to see a knit toy from all angles. He is just as sweet from the back with his tiny curly tail.

I’ll be back with a few more book projects soon. I have so many Spud & Chloë and Blue Sky Alpacas projects on my needles right now you wouldn’t believe it. Six projects currently in the works to be more specific. Guess when they are all due… April! I’m not complaining, in fact just the opposite. I am one lucky knitter!

Also, I have a Hello Baby Hat on my needles that I will be sharing right here very shortly so keep your eyes out for that.

Take care, Knitters.
