Tuck – A Sneak Peek!

March 10, 2010

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

I am bringing you a sneak peek at my almost completed Spud & Chloë free pattern project. He is a little turtle named, Tuck.

This is such a fun project that I think you will really enjoy. I like the turtle for a different spring-themed type project. A turtle can be spring-like, right? I think so.

Now, Tuck is not finished yet in these shots. There is going to be an added twist for extra-fun. Thinking about his name you may be able to venture a guess as to what the added feature might be. I’ll keep you in turtle suspense for now.

If you are interested in making Tuck for yourself or a friend or family member you should gather up some Spud & Chloë Sweater in Turtle #7514 and Grass #7502 , a little stuffing, poly-pellets if you like but not necessary and a set of US size 6 dpns. Maybe a little black embroidery floss and a yarn needle, too. You will be ready to roll as soon as I get this pattern whipped into shape.

I may be pattern writing on the plane to Philly and NYC so be patient with me. I have another cute project waiting in the wings for the following free pattern. It should be a good month of March around here.

I gave away a bunch of Spud & Chloë yarn and patterns and my Hop pattern from Blue Sky Alpacas last night at the Milwaukee Knitting Guild and they loved it!! And I love giving Spud & Chloë stuff away so it was fun all-around. I love talking about Spud & Chloë and touting all of the wonderful yarns and patterns everywhere I go. What a fun job I have.

Thanks for coming last night if you were there! I’ll be back soon with the pattern for Tuck!
