Project Inspiration: Watermelon!

June 24, 2014

Is there anything more refreshing than a slice of watermelon in the summer? Watermelon season may be in full swing, but you can get your fix year-round by knitting these 3 great hat patterns in the iconic pink and green hues of this sweet summer treat!

The Radishes and Rosebuds kerchief is an adorable way to keep stray hairs out of your eyes as you work in the garden. This pattern is knit in Spud & Chloë Fine and sized from infant to adult!

Also knit in Spud & Chloë Fine, the Linear Systems hat by Ann Weaver is a free pattern available here on our blog. You could simply swap out the contrast color with Cricket or Green Bean for your own summery take on this colorwork cap!

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention another free hat pattern featuring our yarn: the Watermelon Hat by Susan B. Anderson! This worsted weight hat knits up quick in our Sweater yarn, and it’s sized for little ones, from newborn to child’s small – click here for a free download on our website!
