Knickers for Chloë – Free Pattern

August 31, 2011

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

I have wanted make Chloë a quick pair of knickers ever since I knit her a few years ago. This week I was determined to do just that. I whipped up a simple undergarment for Miss Chloë that is specifically shaped for her round little body and skinny legs that sit at the front. She has a bit of an unusual shape, cute as it is. It took several tries to get it just right but I am very pleased with the outcome.

I am delighted to share the pattern for Knickers for Chloë with you today. That Chloë is getting quite a sweet wardrobe. It is fun to add a little something here and there for her.

The knickers could be made in many different colors of Sweater. If your Chloë doll is for a child I know they will enjoy an undergarment or two to dress her with. I don’t know if you have noticed but one of the first things kids do when they get a doll is to see what is underneath the clothes. This is a universal phenomenon. Now Chloë is covered!

Here are some things you might like to know:

Yarn: Spud & Chloë Sweater in Igloo #7517, 1 hank (only a small amount is needed)

Needles: US 7 dpns

Gauge: 5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch
