Fairy Tale, Leapfrog, & Mermaid

August 16, 2013

Fairy Tale, Leapfrog, Mermaid

The new fall colors of Spud & Chloë Outer are bright and sweet. Fairy Tale is an engaging and girlie purple, Leapfrog is a springy and energetic green, and then there is Mermaid, a buoyant and bubbly blue-green. When we saw this magical palette all together, we knew some children’s designs were in order.

Fairy Tale Hoodie

The playful and practical Fairy Tale Hoodie is designed by Sylvia Häger. Sylvia is mom to two darling little girls who were the perfect inspiration for fairy tales, princesses, and modern-day takes on Little Red Riding Hood. Sylvia was a very busy designer this past season, as you may recall from this post, she also designed the Weekender Sweater (and another design for the Blue Sky Alpacas 2013 Collection! Whew!)

At the start of the shoot.

Our model was a little bit nervous to model the Fairy Tale Hoodie. (But still really excited too!)

All bundled up!

And since we were outside, we took lots of breaks to keep Miss Anabelle warm. Here she is chatting with our stylist Bethany. Anabelle has fantastic stories about her dogs, lemme tell you!

Bein’ Anabelle!

And by the end of the photoshoot, I think we had made her feel pretty comfortable. She was comfy rockin’ the Fairy Tale Hoodie and just being silly. But unfortunately, we didn’t have much use for the “Fish Face” pose. 😉

Fairy Tale Hoodie in Mermaid

The Fairy Tale Hoodie is smart design too, with top down construction, your princess can try it on as you go, ensuring the perfect fit. And in quick knitting Spud & Chloë Outer, you’ll be done before the first flake flies!
