Color Inspiration: Red, White & Blue!

June 24, 2014

Just in time for the Fourth of July, there are two great new patterns in our yarns featuring a patriotic color scheme of red, white and blue!

We were so pleased to see our yarn on the cover of an exciting new book called It Girl Crochet:

The Psychedelia Mitts by Brenda K. B. Anderson are crocheted with our Sport Weight yarn in Red, Calla Lily and Blue Spruce. They are cleverly constructed, too: each mitt is crocheted in the round to create a shape similar to an old-fashioned braided rug!

If you’re already planning your fall knitting, then you won’t want to miss out on the Early Fall 2014 issue of Vogue Knitting! The Striped Pullover by Cynthia Yanok features our Worsted Cotton in Tomato, Tulip and Mediterranean to create a striking piece that’s perfect for changing seasons.

We’d also like to share the latest news about the Up, Down, All-Around Stitch Dictionary by Wendy Bernard, which features Blue Sky Alpacas yarns! Wendy was a guest on the Ready, Set, Knit! podcast over the weekend – click here to listen to the episode if you missed it!

The book was also reviewed in-depth by designer and tech editor Ruth Garcia-Alcantud on the Rock + Purl Podcast. Click here to watch the episode for your chance to win an autographed copy of your very own!
