Bulky Hat Collection Winners!

January 22, 2014

Congratulations to our six Bulky Hat Collection winners! And thank you to everyone for participating.

The Arctic Hat in Coyote.

Kristen is the winner of the Arctic Hat.

“I would make the Arctic hat. I have been knitting a sweater and reading.”

The Polar Hat in Frost.

“This is so hard to choose! I love these hats. I would pick the polar hat because that playful pompom on top just makes the grey winter skies in the northwest cheerful. I live on Whidbey Island in Washington State and I spend the winter days hoping for snow and praying we don’t lose power, knitting on the one or two projects in every room of my house! But honestly, I do that all year round :) . I squeeze my work as a therapist and teaching boundary workshops around my knitting.”

The winning comment for the Polar Hat from Sarri!

The Trapper Hat in Brown Bear.

It looks like Kelly’s husband is one lucky guy. Here is her winning comment:

“I live in Anchorage, Alaska and love the wonderful knits this season brings out. I would like the trapper hat for my husband.”

The Bear Hat in Polar Bear.

Lucky Sarah is the winner of the Bear Hat, or maybe it’s her grandbaby that is the winner!

“I’ve been enjoying the snow with a grandbaby, cozy and warm in more hand knits than he cares to wear…. I think he needs a bear hat too :)”

The Fox Hat in Silver Mink.

I wonder what color Sonja will make the Fox Hat in?

“I love the children’s hats! I love to ski and sled-ride with my granddaughter, I refuse to let winter keep me inside the house. So, I do bundle up. In Ohio, our weather was terribly frosty, so I stayed home and continued to knit hats for my older children.”

The Rabbit Hat in Blossom.

And congratulations go to Liz the winner of the Rabbit Hat.

“I would have to make the rabbit hat for my nieces. Could anything be more adorable!?! During the cold days I have been knitting ties and kippahs for my husband.”

Keep watching this space for more fun!
