There was a hopeful moment. A few days were sunny and warm enough to skip a winter coat. The smell of Spring was in the air and everyone seemed to be in a happy mood. And just when you think, I don’t need a coat today, the snow comes…again.

Knitting the Avalon will speed along on size 10.5 needles, the fabric is airy and drapey. However, the Brushed Suri a wonderful blend of Suri Alpaca, Merino Wool and Bamboo. Even though this cardigan will feel light as air to wear the fiber content will keep you toasty warm. So Spring might not be quite here yet, but at least the perfect weekend knitting project is.
