giveaway-on-table

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

Today is a good day to be here. I am hosting a big giveaway on Spud says! to thank you for your support of Spud & Chloë during our first couple of months. It has been a great ride so far because of you.

Let me tell you what you can win in this giveaway:

1 Spud & Chloë pattern for the Flap Happy Hat

1 Spud & Chloë pattern box to store your collection of patterns (here is the box folding tutorial)

4 skeins of Spud & Chloë Sweater yarn in Grass, Moonlight, Popsicle and Pollen (These are the colors the hat is worked in for the pattern and they make a gorgeous combination.)

1 Pom Tree (this is my personal favorite pom-pom making tool)

The Pom Tree is a really fun tool for making the pom-poms and tassels for this hat. There is a tutorial available here on how to use the Pom Tree if you are interested. This is a versatile tool you will treasure forever. I use mine all of the time!

Here is the ravelry link for the Flap Happy Hat if you want to check that out.

Now, the rules are simple to enter the contest. All you have to do is leave a comment to say hello and only one comment per person please. In your comment please leave an identifying something or other like your name, location, link, etc. I will leave the contest open through Wednesday, July 29, 2009. That’s it.

On Thursday, July 30 I will use a random number generator to pick a winner. I will then post the winner’s name right here on Spud says! I can’t wait. Be sure to check in. The winner will have until Saturday, August 1rst, 2009 to email me with their mailing address. My email is on the sidebar under, Contact Susan. If I don’t hear from the winner by the end of Saturday I will select a new winner on Sunday, August 2nd.

I am excited to offer this fun first-time giveaway to you. Good luck if you enter. I’ll be back before you know it with the winner. Until then…let the comments begin!

Oh, and another tidbit of fun to share with you is here. Be sure to hop on over to see the fantastically beautiful Outer and Sweater yarn baby blankets from the Purlbee. Wow!! I’ll take a couple of those for myself, please. Great work and use of the yarns.

Added on July 30th: The contest is officially over. Thank you to all who entered.
